Meet Colin

Meet Yoli

Colin’s association with Queenstown dates back to the 1970’s, when as a Civil Engineer, he was Project Manager on several infrastructure projects in the area, which was followed by the role of General Manager at Queenstown’s Cecil Peak sheep and cattle station and where he was responsible for the construction of a hydro-electric power plant and tourist operations in the 1980’s. Whilst Queenstown has always remained home, Colin has worked on assignments in New Zealand which included the position of the district’s Roading Manager, and overseas in Australia, the Pacific Islands, Indonesia and the Philippines, where he met and subsequently married Yolanda.
Yolanda, first visited Queenstown in 2001, is a graduate in Business Studies and has a marketing background being engaged in real estate and condominium development and later with the import and sales of specialized industrial electrical equipment from Germany and the United States. Yolanda has also worked in Sales at the Queenstown Airport Duty Free outlets and recently has been responsible for the furnishing of Alpine Suites and will provide a smiling welcome.
